Administration

The Department of Administration is responsible for the Village's day-to-day operations. The Village Administrator and Deputy Village Administrator are responsible for the overall management of the city's 160 employees and $32 million budget.

Working in a collaborative environment with a team-based approach, the Department of Administration implements the vision of the Village President and Board of Trustees. This department assists the members of the Board of Trustees in formulating policies and responding to resident issues and concerns, either directly or through various Village staff members, to recommend options and potential solutions.

In addition to managing the administrative functions of the Village, the department ensures the effective coordination and implementation of public policies, programs, and initiatives by utilizing the talents of twelve Village departments.
