NOTICE OF SALE
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, 11:00 a.m.at the Municipal Offices, located at 76 South Orange Ave, Suite 302, South Orange, N.J., South Orange Village (the “Village”) will offer for sale to the highest bidder, with a reservation to reject all bids, Block 2111, Lot 18, commonly referred to as 215 Lindsley Avenue (the “Property”), not required for municipal purposes. The property is located in the Residential B zone. Minimum bid will be $125,000. The successful bidder will be required to post a bid deposit of ten percent of the bid amount, in cash or by certified check, which deposit will be retained as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to close title. The Property shall be conveyed by quitclaim deed, in its “as is condition”, and subject to restrictions and easements of record and such facts as an accurate survey will disclose. The successful bidder shall comply with the following conditions: (1.) The bidder shall be responsible for all land use and other administrative approvals necessary to develop the site and associated costs. (2.) The bidder shall be responsible for connection to all utilities, including water and sewer. The successful bidder shall enter into a contract for sale, not inconsistent with these terms.
