| The Police Department is currently looking to hire individuals for the position of Crossing Guard in a “fill-in” capacity, with the possibility of being hired on a permanent basis. Individuals must be 18 years of age and be in good health with good vision and hearing; and attend a short training and safety course prior to their start. Starting pay is $16.52 per hour, with posts in the morning, mid-day and afternoon and of varying lengths.
