Theater in Residence

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre is a small professional theatre whose mission is to tell stories with an intimacy that allows artists and audiences to connect, stories that reflect our lives, relationships and our world today. Dreamcatcher has a core company of professional local actors who perform contemporary work that entertains and challenges, and has at its heart the belief in the essential goodness of people. Also central to our mission is the enrichment of young people's lives through theatre, both through hands-on experience and through educational programs. We seek to expose theatregoers and students to ideas and lives like and unlike our own, with the intention of awakening their imaginations and creating empathy for others.

Dreamcatcher produces both plays and musicals that are either fresh from Off-Broadway, little-known regional gems, or original works. As a complement to its mainstage shows, the company offers performances by its improvisational comedy troupe, Multiple Personality Disorder, Holiday Cabarets, and the "Meet the Artist" series, which includes readings of new plays followed by discussions with the audience.
