As the weather gets frostier, keep warm by joining our community at local events and enjoy laughter, literature, and elves! (oh, and hot chocolate)

Menorah Lighting

Join local synagogues this Tuesday, November 30th at 5:30PM as they honor the Festival of Lights with word and song and light the menorah in Spiotta Park. There will be treats and crafts for the kids so come out and join the celebration!

Gingerbread House Decorating Party!

Join us in front of 133 Fairview Ave. (the former Cultural Center) for some family decorating fun! We will have 50 gingerbread houses available so come early to claim your house and then stay to decorate with Funky Fun Art! We'll have hot chocolate and snacks and be sure to dress warmly!

Watershed Literary Events - Final Virtual Reading 2021

Watershed Literary Events will host its final virtual reading of 2021 on Sunday, December 5. The reading will feature Michael Lally & Friends. The event is free and open to the public and can be accessed through this Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86405802744.

Hometown Holiday - Elf Edition!

Get ready for a full day of holiday fun on December 11th! Start the day off with laughs at The Village at SOPAC theaters for a FREE screening of the movie Elf. As you leave the movie, take a selfie with Santa! Then, head over to Spiotta Park for crafts, treats, and a special Santa visit. End the elf-tastical day with a tree lighting and singing!
