Open-Air Holiday Market

Join us for the South Orange Downtown Open-Air Holiday Market! The Sloan Street parking lot will once again be transformed into a retail destination filled with booths from local vendors and makers. The market will feature your favorite local businesses and sell finely crafted jewelry, apparel, accessories, art and gift items made by many of our area’s finest local artisans and craftspeople. Public Works Events

E-Waste Event- On Saturday, December 11 from 8 AM until noon, South Orange and Maplewood residents are welcome to access the recycling facility at 300 Walton Ave to dispose of e-waste (electronic) items.

Hometown Holiday & Tree Lighting

Join us on Saturday, December 11 for full day of FREE, family friendly activities to celebrate Hometown Holiday: Elf Edition!

9 AM: ELF movie screening at the Village At SOPAC Cinemas
10:30 AM: Selfies with Santa
3-5 PM: Hometown Holiday: ELF Edition
5 PM: Annual tree Lighting
