That is precisely what internationally renowned artist Marite´ Vidales has achieved in her exhibition, REVEALED: Intimate Renderings of the Grand Canyon. Each of the 46 intimate and paradoxical works, some as small as 6 inches, are painted pine barks set in tonal shadow frames, inspiring questions about landscape, environment and her own media.

Learn how to make plastic flowers with Natalya Khorover, whose piece “Speaking of Birds” is currently on display at the Wildflower Sculpture Park. Participants are asked to bring in used single use plastic bags from which the artist will demonstrate making flowers. This is a hands-on workshop where everyone attending can contribute and make their own flowers. At the end you will have several flowers to take home, or tie to our fence at the dog park.

Forest Regeneration activities focus on the areas in and around the fenced 14 acre Forest and Wildflower Preserve located near the Dog Park in the Reservation. Within the Preserve, activities may include planting, removal of invasive plants, removal of invasive control materials such as large tarps, and maintenance of trails. Ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult and a waiver form may need to be completed. Pre-registration is not required. Please dress appropriately! Let artist Oki Fukunaga show you how to make intriguing sculptures with just wire coat hangers! Oki has 2 sculptures on display at the Wildflower Sculpture park, *Spore* and *Polypore*.
