A water workout classes offer a well rounded workout for folks looking for a low impact exercise. Cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength & flexibility are just a few of many benefit to water exercise. Balance, coordination & core strength will improve from each workout. Tone muscles while protecting the joints and staying cool in the pool!

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while sitting in a chair. It adapts traditional yoga poses so that they can be done making yoga more accessible for people who cannot stand for long periods.

Join us as we create projects, exploring various art and craft mediums. Collage, Printmaking, and basic Quilting techniques will taught during the 4 weeks. We invite you to enjoy the process of art making in a relaxed atmosphere, with like minded individuals.
Participants are asked to bring a separate $5.00 per class or one time $20.00 materials fee to the instructor.

Beginner Yoga - Instructor Tonia Moore
Wednesdays, June 29 - July 20 (4 weeks) 1:00 - p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Beginner Yoga for seniors offers basic poses/asanas, taught at a slower pace. Attention will be given to the proper use of breath, stretching, developing strength and improving balance, no head stands or handstands - just gentle movement. Wear comfortable clothes, bring water, a yoga mat, and a small towel. A limited number of yoga mats will be available for borrowing.
Free South Orange transportation for seniors is available to get you to and from this class. Please contact the Parking Authority to schedule your ride at least a day in advance, 973-378-7715 ext 2035.
