Arts & Crafts - Sustainable Design (Up-cycling)

You are invited to enjoy the process of art making in a relaxed environment with like minded individuals. Sustainable Design (Up-cycling) concepts and practices will be used to create attractive pieces, exploring various craft and art mediums. Join us as we Re-think, Re-imagine, and Reuse materials to create jewelry, weaving, paper and fabric collage, felting and other mixed media projects.
Participants are asked to bring a separate one time $20.00 materials fee to the instructor.

Learn how to play the ancient game of Mah Jongg. If you've always wanted to learn up to play, now is the perfect time! You'll pick up all the basics and will be bam'ing and crak'ing in no time. There will be plenty of hand-holding and coaching along the way. Everyone should bring their own 2022 National Mah Jongg card to class.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while sitting in a chair. It adapts traditional yoga poses so that they can be done making yoga more accessible for people who cannot stand for long periods.

Beginner Yoga

Beginner Yoga for seniors offers basic poses/asanas, taught at a slower pace. Attention will be given to the proper use of breath, stretching, developing strength and improving balance, no head stands or handstands - just gentle movement. Wear comfortable clothes, bring water, a yoga mat, and a small towel. A limited number of yoga mats will be available for borrowing.
