Public Works Events

Branch Pickup- Branches will be collected by appointment only on Tuesday, September 20.
Metal Pickup- On Tuesday, September 20, DPW will pickup metal recyclables for residents who have prescheduled and paid for this service. There is 6 item limit for this pickup. Metal Pickup Form
Household Bulk Pickup- On Thursday, September 22, DPW will collect household bulk items with the exception of metal and electronics for residents who have prescheduled and paid for this service. There is 6 item limit for this pickup. Bulk Pickup Form

SOPL Events

Pop-Up Jewelry Sale: The Friends of SOPL will be holding a series of pop-up jewelry sales on Thursdays throughout September. On September 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 2-6 PM, the sale will be located at SOPL with all proceeds going to the library and all jewelry being donated by the community.
Pollinator Day: Girl Scout Troop 20386 is hosting Pollinator Day on Sunday, September 25. Come to the SO library to try some fun, hands-on activities to teach elementary school-aged kids about pollinators and why it's so important to save them. Drop in anytime between 1:30 and 4:00 and try as many activities as you like - from planting native, pollinator-friendly plants to building your own bee hotel! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
