Summer Nights Moonlit Movie

Join us at Floods Hill this Wednesday, Aug 15th for another super fun Summer Nights event. Starting at 8:00 pm we will be hosting a free screening of the hit movie Coco! Released in 2017, Coco is rated PG and a family friendly movie that everyone will love. So bring a blanket and some friends and enjoy Coco!

Electronic Recycling Event

This Saturday, Aug 18th from 8:00 am-12:00 pm is South Orange's Electronic Recycling Event. Located at 300 Walton Ave at The Department of Public Works, this event will help reduce the Village's carbon footprint and let residents dispose of all their unnecessary electronic items in an easy and efficient way! Residents with proof of residency can partake in recycling their old or used electronics. Commercial vehicles are not allowed on the property. Major Projects

One of the projects taking place in the Village is the current renovation of the Police Department which will be finished by March of 2019.

In other news, there have been 18 proposals for renovation of the South Orange Public Library to become a Library Municipal Complex.
