In the Village's first attempt at hosting a coat and toy drive, we are proud to say it was very successful. We could not have done it without the compassionate residents of South Orange. We hope to make this an annual tradition for years to come. On behalf of the Township of South Orange Village and SHU's DOVE, we sincerely thank all of the generous residents who donated coats and toys for those in need.

Electronics Recycling Event

South Orange and Maplewood residents with proof of residency are welcome to participate in the electronic recycling event. This event will be held at the Department of Public Works located at 300 Walton Ave.
No commercial vehicles are allowed on the property. Please refer to the acceptable items listed on the Public Works page or, if you have questions regarding specific items, please contact the office at 973-378-7741. Due to inclement weather at this time of year, if for any reason this event is canceled it will be rescheduled for December 22nd.
