Here you will receive weekly updates about all the important and fun events in town! The South Orange Weekly Digest comes out every Monday morning to give readers on the go all the information they need at their fingertips to stay engaged.

Pickup Events

Metal Pickup- On Tuesday, July 23, DPW will pickup metal recyclables for residents who have scheduled and paid for this service. There is a 6 item limit.
Bulk Pickup- On Thursday, May 25, DPW will collect household bulk items with the exception of metal and electronics for residents who have scheduled and paid for this service. There is a 6 item limit.
Container day- On Saturday, July 27, Villagers are welcome to drop off household bulk items at the Public Works facility from 8 am until 1:30 pm. Proof of residency is required and no commercial vehicles (U-Haul's/ Home Depot rental vans) are permitted on the property. Electronics, construction material, and hazardous waste will not be accepted at these events.
