1. Can I park at a meter with my Business/Employee permit?

No. Permits are not valid at meters.

2. How can I get a commuter permit?

Currently there are long waiting lists for any commuter permit. You are eligible to place your name on any of the waiting lists as long as you qualify. The waiting time is approximately five (5) years. When your name comes off the list, you are sent a letter notifying you that you can receive a permit.

3. How do I qualify for a commuter permit?

Non-residents are eligible to get on the waiting lists for New Jersey Transit and Mountain Station. Residents can get on those lists plus a Resident only list.

4. Can I park on the street overnight?

No. Overnight parking is not allowed town wide, on the street or in the parking lots between 2 a.m. - 6 a.m., without permission or a valid permit.

5. Who is eligible for on street, day and night parking in front of their residence?

One or two family residences that have no driveway are eligible for those parking.
