1. How do I get on the waiting list?

Turn in the waiting list form to be put in the waiting list. You can view and download the Waiting List Form (PDF).

2. How long is the wait?

The wait is approximately 5 years.

3. How do I periodically check my position status?

To check your status, call the office at 973-378-7715, ext. 2037 or email nrodriguez@southorange.org.

4. How will I know when I’m eligible for a permit?

The office will mail you a letter of eligibility, giving you ten business days to respond that you are still interested.
