In accordance with Ch. 72 Laws of 1994, South Orange Village has issued tax bills for the 3rd tax installment due on August 1, 2025 using an Estimate rate of $2.598 per 100 of assessed valuation. Bills were mailed the week of June 16, 2025. This is the only bill you will receive for the August 1st, 3rd installment. The November 1, 2025 and 2026 preliminary tax bills will be processed as soon as the 2025 final tax rate has been certified.

For your convenience, payments can be made at www.southorange.org, sent by mail, or left inside at a secure dropbox near the Village Tax office door on the third floor at 76 South Orange Ave. 

Please note that postmark dates are not honored as dates of receipt. Do not mail post-dated checks as they will not be processed and will be mailed back to you. Always use the following address when making payments:
