Juneteenth 2023

Revaluation Updates

The Village is nearing the end of Phase 1, interior inspections of all properties. If you have not had an interior inspection of your property completed, please call PROFESSIONAL PROPERTY APPRAISERS at 866-957-1388 to schedule an appointment. An INTERIOR INSPECTION needs to be made for assessment accuracy and to ensure that the tax burden is distributed “fairly” among all property owners.
Phase 2 will begin once inspections are completed. This phase will consist of letters being sent to all property owners with their preliminary new assessment for 2024.
Phase 3 will be meeting with any homeowner that has questions about their preliminary assessment.
Phase 4 will be finalizing the assessments for all properties and submitting those new assessments to the County Tax Board for 2024.

Public Works Events

Electronic Waste Event- On Saturday, June 17 from 8 AM until noon, South Orange and Maplewood residents are welcome to access the recycling facility at 300 Walton Ave to dispose of e-waste (electronic) items.

Seton Village Events

ArtBender & SoundBender: 6/18 11 AM; 133 Fairview
The community is encouraged to gather at the various “creativity hubs” and participate in communal projects throughout the town. ArtBender events include painting, chalk street art, writing, and community gardening. SoundBender includes musical performances throughout Seton Village and beyond. Be sure to start your day at 133 Fairview Ave and Carter Park on Irvington Ave and College Place, festivities kick off at 11am. For more details please visit https://www.setonvillage.org/new-page
Summer Yoga: Saturdays; 133 Fairview
Seton Village is offering FREE yoga sessions on Saturdays throughout the summer. You must be prepared with your own mat, blocks, towel and water. Most classes run from 9-10 AM with the exception of the Summer Solstice Celebration on June 21. For additional information, please visit
