Project Summary: 2nd & Sloan St. Redevelopment

A mixed-use development with up to 81 residential units and ground floor community space is proposed for 8 Second Street (2nd & Sloan St.). 

The Sloan Street Redevelopment Area is only comprised of one property located at 8 Second Street, which forms the western border of Block 1905, parallel to the New Jersey Transit commuter train line. The parcel is a corner lot with three frontages: Second Street, Third Street, and Sloan Street.

  • Affordable Housing Component: Minimum of 20% of units shall conform with the Village’s Affordable Housing Ordinance.

    2. Affordable units shall not be concentrated to one residential floor or have separate entrances from the market rate units.
